Film Experimentation

Super 8 explorations in analog process, chemical accidents, and material cinema

Film Experimentation

An ongoing series of Super 8 short films exploring analog process as a creative practice. Rather than correcting for the medium's instabilities — grain, flicker, gate weave, chemical streaks — these experiments treat them as compositional material. Each roll is a self-contained study in exposure, chemistry, and gesture.

Films

Jonction

A black & white Super 8 piece and a first attempt at self-developing film stock. Created in collaboration with Seba and Sandrine.

La vie est un croissant

A short film test shot on Kodak Vision3 200T and developed at Zebra Lab (Geneva). Functioning as a baseline study of camera handling, stock response, and lab processing. The frame-by-frame scan was kept intentionally neutral — no stabilization or grain management — to study how the material behaves straight out of the lab.
