From the Andes to the Alps: A Neuroscience Journey

Born in the far south of the world, near Patagonia, I grew up at the foot of the Andes. My passion for science eventually led me to the Chilean coast, where I embarked on my academic journey, exploring the fields of neuropharmacology and neurochemistry. A Swiss scholarship later brought me back to the mountains—this time to the Alps—where I completed a PhD in Neurosciences at the University of Geneva. In recent years, my research has centered on uncovering how the brain encodes social interactions. Driven by a deep enthusiasm for teaching, science outreach, and communication, I am excited to see where my next scientific adventure will take me!
